On Sunday, August 24th, 2025, police responded to a disturbance at a Dunkin' Donuts involving a customer who refused to leave. What started as a simple disagreement over a breakfast order quickly escalated when the customer walked behind the counter, leading to a violent brawl, a choked pet, and locked doors before officers arrived to restore order. In the end, officers informed the suspect that she had to come with them to the police department after determining that her decision to go back behind the counter escalated the situation. In the moments following the interaction, she was placed in handcuffs inside a squad car to wait while arranging for someone to pick up her dog. Based on the conduct documented in this body camera footage, the following charges could potentially apply: • Criminal Trespass: For going behind the counter and refusing to leave the premises after being instructed to do so. • Battery: For engaging in physical violence, including smacking and physically fighting with the store employee during the dispute. • Disorderly Conduct: For creating a public disturbance inside the business through aggressive behavior and physical confrontation. The final charges are determined by prosecutors based on the available evidence and applicable law. All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
