On August 16, 2026, officers with the Key West Police Department in Florida encountered a lifted white Ford pickup truck in downtown Key West after observing the driver nearly strike a woman crossing the street. The woman was forced to run onto the curb to avoid being hit and later approached officers to report what had happened. Officers later identified the driver as Dustin Christina. Several hours later, officers received another report involving the same truck after a woman noticed it parked outside her residence. When she approached the vehicle, she found Christina sitting in the driver’s seat. According to the police report, Christina told her that he had seen a police officer driving through the area and was trying to “hide out for a little while.” Officers responded to the area and located the white Ford pickup partially parked in the roadway. Watch the body cam footage as Key West officers investigate the incident and make contact with the driver. This video is presented for news, documentary, and educational purposes.
