A routine welfare check in Maple Heights quickly turned into one of the most intense police chases ever captured on bodycam footage. Officers responded to reports of a driver passed out behind the wheel, but moments later the suspect suddenly sped away with a police officer partially trapped inside the vehicle. The terrifying pursuit reached speeds over 90 MPH across Ohio highways as officers desperately tried to stop the SUV before the officer inside was seriously injured. Spike strips, PIT attempts, and nonstop radio chaos followed as the suspect recklessly swerved through traffic while officers feared for their fellow officer’s life. The chase finally ended after successful spike deployment and a dramatic foot pursuit. The suspect, identified as Neil Miller, was arrested and later faced multiple felony charges including abduction and failure to comply with police.
