On Wednesday, 09-24-25, Officer Montgomery, had initiated a vehicle stop on a white Nissan Rogue, southbound on Old Collinsville Rd. at Ravenel for expired registration. The Nissan pulled over to the right shoulder, and the patrol vehicle right behind the Nissan. the fully marked patrol vehicle had all overhead emergency lights activated. As the officer was approaching the rear passenger side of the Nissan, a gray Camaro crashed into the patrol vehicle which was further crashed into the Nissan, almost hitting the Officer. The Camaro sustained heavy front-end damage and was blocking the southbound lanes of Old Collinsville Rd. the driver of the Camaro was Keajion L. Jennings, as he was disoriented the Officer advised Jennings to walk toward him and to get out of the roadway. the occupants of the Nissan were all right after the crash and were identified as Siblings, When Officer asked him what happened. Jennings stated he has been drinking, and he "took some weed pills". he also said he did it on purpose, and again he confirmed that he ran into the police vehicle on purpose. When asked why he did it, he said because he was bored. A few moments later, he said "I hate cops, man". when asked why he hated the police, he said that he got raped and nobody helped him. Because Jennings' admitted to ramming officer's car and his hatred toward the police, Officer decided to detain him into handcuffs. Soon later EMS also arrived to evaluate the occupants, but all three refused any medical assistance. The patrol vehicle sustained heavy rear-end and front-end damage and was subsequently towed. To further investigate the crash, the Camaro was also towed. As for Jennings, he was charged with aggravated battery with a motor vehicle and criminal damage to government property.
