Ring camera footage captured Meredith Martell arriving home with two of her children—and later recorded Jamel Hill Moore outside holding a knife. At approximately 2:40 a.m., police responded to a domestic-disturbance call. A child flagged down the first officer and directed him inside, where Meredith was screaming for help. The officer’s body camera captured the urgent response, an unsuccessful Taser deployment, and the fatal shooting of Hill Moore. Meredith was transported to a hospital but later died from multiple sharp-force injuries. This video also examines Hill Moore’s two previous domestic-related cases and the two 21-month prison sentences that were stayed earlier that year. Public reporting does not establish that Meredith was involved in those earlier cases. Viewer discretion is strongly advised. This video contains disturbing Ring camera and police bodycam footage involving domestic violence and a fatal shooting. What are your thoughts on this case?
