In the early morning hours of October 2, 2023, Upper Arlington Police Officer Daron observed a vehicle traveling 69 miles per hour (MPH) in a 45 MPH zone. He initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and the police report states that he smelled a moderate amount of alcohol coming from the 22-year-old driver. She was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests, which she partially refused. She was placed under arrest for DUI and transported to the Upper Arlington police station. She submitted to an evidential breath test and the result was 0.165% BAC. Her charges and the outcome of her case are discussed at the end of the video.
