On Christmas Day, officers were called to a heated custody dispute after a father reported concerns about his child’s safety. When police arrived, they found the child without shoes and the mother visibly injured, with blood on her lip following an earlier altercation with her boyfriend. What started as a custody issue quickly escalated when tensions rose and the mother refused to hand over the child. As officers tried to de-escalate the situation, things took an unexpected turn.
