A routine traffic stop escalates after an officer begins questioning whether the woman behind the wheel is really who she claims to be. Police say the registered owner of the vehicle is wanted on an outstanding warrant. As Sergeant Smith checks the driver's story against identifying information, he becomes increasingly convinced that the woman he's speaking with is actually the person named in that warrant. After explicitly warning her not to drive away, the encounter escalates into a police pursuit, coordinated rolling roadblock, forcible extraction, arrest, and medical response.
