On April 27, 2024, Colts Neck Police Officer Forgach began following a slow-moving vehicle that he claims was impeding traffic. He then claimed he observed the vehicle cross over the marked lane lines painted on the ground. He initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and the 23-year-old driver gave conflicting answers about where she had been, what time she had left, and how much alcohol she had consumed. She was asked to step out of the vehicle in order to perform standardized field sobriety tests. She ended up finishing the "walk and turn" test by walking backwards. She was eventually arrested for DUI. At the police station, she ended up regurgitating several times and the officers determined that providing a breath sample was not feasible. She was then transported to a local hospital, where she provided a blood sample. After several hours, she was released to a sober party. Her charges are discussed at the end of the video. All suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
