Woman Spends 70 days in Jail then Fails to Show Up for Court On 3/15/2024, and officer with the Des Moines Police Department responded to a call from a business downtown in regards to someone sitting on the property that would not leave after being asked by the manager. The woman was then booked into the Polk County jail where she was charged with failure to appear.
