On April 29, 2025, a deputy observed a white car speeding and driving carelessly, running a stop bar, and forcing two other vehicles to slam on their brakes to avoid a collision. The deputy initiated a traffic stop as the car pulled into a driveway. The driver "originally refused to provide any of the requested documents claiming that she did not have to because she was in a driveway". After she eventually provided her license, the deputy returned to her window and "could smell the oder of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle". When asked to step out, she "refused to do so". This bodycam shows the moments officers removed her from the vehicle. As she was being taken out, "she dropped a cup and a large bag of marijuana... fell out of the cup". She then "began to physically resist while attempting to stomp on the bag of marijuana". A search of the vehicle located another small bag of marijuana in the center console. She was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Obstruction Without Violence.
