On November 9, 2023, Roswell Police Officer Taylor stopped a vehicle for no registration. In addition to that, the woman stated she had no license and no insurance. Officer Taylor suspected the woman might be impaired, so he called for the assistance of Officer Silvas and K9 "Xena". The dog did not alert to the presence of a prohibited substance, but Officer Taylor decided to administer standardized field sobriety tests. The woman repeatedly complained that she had to use the restroom, but there wasn't one nearby. Eventually, she just stopped the testing and went and urinated behind a trash can as Officers Taylor and Silvas looked on. She was arrested for DUI and was transported to the Roswell police station. She submitted to an evidential breath test and the result was 0.00%. She then consented to go to the hospital for a blood draw.
