Fired Employee Returns and Shoots His Coworkers in Revenge After being fired from his job, Bruce Pofahl held onto his anger and eventually returned to Oneida Casino with a gun. On May 1, 2021, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, police received emergency calls reporting an active shooting at the Oneida Casino resort, where approximately 600 customers and employees were inside at the time. Bruce had previously worked there as a food and beverage manager but was fired following allegations that he had harassed a female employee. After losing his job, he allegedly threatened to kill his former manager, Elizabeth Walker, and secretly tracked people around her using GPS devices. On the day of the shooting, Bruce returned to his former workplace carrying a 9mm SAR9 handgun and five rounds of ammunition. When he was unable to find Elizabeth, he turned his attention to two former coworkers, Ian Simpson and Jacob Bartel. Bruce then blended into the crowd evacuating the casino before opening fire again in the parking lot, targeting another coworker, Daniel Mulligan. But by then, police were already close. Multiple law enforcement units quickly surrounded the area. The final confrontation ended after four officers fired a total of 50 rounds. The incident left three people dead and one seriously injured. Daniel underwent multiple surgeries but remarkably survived. This video reconstructs the entire Oneida Casino shooting, from Bruce Pofahl’s firing and alleged stalking behavior to the attack inside the resort and his final confrontation with police.
