On August 2nd, 2025, Key West Police responded to a serious crash on Margaret Street after a vehicle was struck head-on by a driver traveling the wrong way. Officers quickly located the suspected driver nearby, and what initially appeared to be a routine DUI investigation took an unexpected turn. As police attempted to question her, the woman became increasingly combative and uncooperative, refusing to follow commands and escalating the situation at every step. Body-worn camera footage captures the moment the encounter spirals out of control, ultimately leading to resistance and arrest. This video shows how a standard traffic investigation can unravel when emotions run high, alcohol is suspected, and a subject refuses to cooperate — all documented through real police bodycam footage. ⚠️ All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
