Watch as our officers seize electric bikes and e-scooters that are being ridden illegally in Wiltshire. Our Neighbourhood Policing teams, alongside our Roads Policing Unit are taking a hard stance on the illegal use of these vehicles as they are often used to facilitate criminal activity such as drug dealing, organised acquisitive crime and serious violence. If someone is found riding an illegally-modified electric bike, unregistered electric motorcycle or an e-scooter, their vehicle will be seized and where appropriate, they will be charged with driving without a licence and driving without insurance. If you have information about the illegal use of e-bikes or e-scooters in your community, please report it online, via 101, or call 999 in an emergency. #NeighbourhoodPolicingWeek
