An 18-year-old woman was arrested after a deputy stopped her for traveling 77 mph in a posted 35 mph zone. During the traffic stop, the deputy requested the driver's license, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance several times. The driver remained on the phone and repeatedly failed to provide the requested documents. After multiple commands to exit the vehicle were ignored, the deputy advised the driver she was under arrest for resisting. Investigators said she pulled away from deputies as they attempted to place her in handcuffs before she was taken into custody with assistance from additional deputies. A records check later determined the driver possessed only a Florida identification card and did not have a valid driver's license. She was charged with resisting an officer without violence, driving without a valid driver's license, and speeding more than 30 mph over the posted speed limit.
