Upon arrival an officer met with Paul who stated he parked his blue moped in the front parking lot of the building. Paul went inside the building, came back out of the building at 0800 hours, and immediately noticed his blue moped was gone. Paul reported somebody told him a black male came asking for cigarettes at the front door. Paul; however, did not have any further information about the suspect. Officers searched the area for the moped, but did not observe it. The stolen blue moped is a 2020 Jiaj Prime 150cc, its cost $280.00. Later this morning, officers located the moped being operated by Raleigh. Officers initiated a traffic stop, but Raleigh did not stop. The suspect eventually crashed and tried to take off again.
