A Daytona Beach traffic stop turned into a scary bodycam chase after police say Cory Acree took off with his young daughter still with him. The April 25, 2026 stop happened on Williamson Boulevard in Daytona Beach, Florida. Officers said the car may have been connected to a shooting investigation, and during the stop they noticed what appeared to be drugs inside the vehicle. Police say Acree fled in the car, crashed into an apartment complex gate, then ran into the woods with his daughter. Officers chased him down while others rushed to find and comfort the child. Acree was later booked into the Volusia County Jail on charges including child abuse, trafficking fentanyl, trafficking methamphetamine, and fleeing law enforcement. One of those bodycam moments where the child’s safety instantly became the biggest concern. For Collaborations → www.viceversesmedia.com Email: partners@viceversesmedia.com #childsafety
