Broward Sheriff's Office body camera footage shows rapper Kodak Black (legal name Bill Kahan Kapri) turning himself in to deputies in Pompano Beach, Florida, on May 14, 2026. According to deputies, on February 27, 2026, a Broward Sheriff's deputy approached a pink Jeep Grand Cherokee that was obstructing traffic in Pompano Beach. Deputies said Kapri got out and spoke with the deputy, whose first words, later quoted in court papers, were "What's going on, boss? You good?" An SUV and a minivan arrived carrying people who said they were his security. His attorney says they are licensed to carry. Deputies said Kapri then got back in the Jeep and drove off. About ten minutes later, the Jeep was located with a different man at the wheel. Detectives reported finding oxycodone, a small amount of cannabis, $26,490 in cash and jewelry inside. No charges over those items have been reported against anyone. Kapri was not arrested that day. A Broward judge signed an arrest warrant on April 30, 2026. On May 14, Kapri surrendered and was booked into the Broward County jail, charged with attempting to flee or elude law enforcement and resisting an officer without violence. The footage shows him finishing a meal in an SUV before being taken into custody. He pleaded not guilty. On September 8, 2026, a Broward judge granted the defense's motion to dismiss the case. Kodak Black was not convicted of any crime in this case. Incident Dates: February 27, 2026 (traffic stop) and May 14, 2026 (surrender) Location: Pompano Beach, Florida All individuals are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. This video is based on public records and news reporting and is presented for news reporting, commentary and educational purposes. #KodakBlack #Bodycam #PompanoBeach
