How many times does this woman remind the officers that her daughter just passed away? Are her tears real or fake? On July 5, 2023, Yelm police were called for some type of domestic dispute. The call eventually led them to locate and pull over a red Honda Civic. The driver seemed to be very well known to the police (the sergeant seemed to know her name without asking for her ID). Suspecting that she had been drinking, she was asked to submit to field sobriety exercises, which she refused. She was arrested for suspicion of drunk driving and taken to the Yelm police station. The Yelm police records department refused to release the results of the evidentiary breath test. Each time it was discussed in the video, the picture was blurred out and the audio was muted. Because the woman had no one to come pick her up, Officer Mooney dropped her off with a sober adult. How many police departments would do that?
