Please like, comment, and SHARE! 🙏 🔍 Episode Overview: At about 11:45 PM on June 13, 2025, Officer Christopher Bradley of the Margate City Police Department went to the Margate Toll Bridge after a report of a possibly intoxicated woman trying to pass through. He found the driver of a black 2014 BMW, later identified as Zoryana Morhun. The toll operator had kept the gate closed because he believed she might be impaired. While speaking with Zoryana, Officer Bradley noticed signs of impairment. She said she had come from the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa and was driving home. Zoryana admitted drinking champagne at the casino and later said she had consumed four glasses. Sergeant Steve Swift and Officer Timothy Flanigan arrived soon after to help. Because of their concerns, officers asked Zoryana to leave the BMW and complete field sobriety exercises. Officer Bradley began with the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus, or HGN, test. She then took the Walk and Turn test, during which she failed to touch heel-to-toe on every step and nearly fell. The last exercise was the One Leg Stand test. Zoryana did not raise her foot correctly and had trouble keeping her balance. The toll operator's report, Zoryana's admission that she had been drinking champagne at the Borgata, and her poor performance on the sobriety exercises led officers to arrest her for DWI. Her BMW was impounded for a 12-hour hold under John's Law. She was taken to the Margate City Police Department for processing. Because the Alcotest machine at the station was not working, officers brought her to the nearby Longport Police Department for a breath test. The Standard Statement for Motor Vehicle Operators was read to Zoryana, and she agreed to provide breath samples. She did not give enough air during the Alcotest, however, and was charged with refusing the test. Officers took her back to Margate, where she spent time in a cell because no one was available to take responsibility for her. Officer Bradley issued Zoryana tickets for operating under the influence (39:4-50), refusing to submit to a chemical test (39:4-50.4A), and reckless driving (39:4-96). Zoryana had already been arrested for DWI in Toms River, New Jersey, on January 21, 2011. She was arrested for a second DWI in Lakehurst, New Jersey, on July 10, 2022.
