In this episode of Mikey Pipes, Cuffed by Cops, newly released bodycam footage shows the tense moments when a 19-year-old Florida woman, Tara Ashley Palmieri, allegedly sped past an officer at high speed, ignoring his commands to stop while he was investigating a hit-and-run on Pioneer Trail. According to the New Smyrna Beach Police Department, Tara was driving a white 2024 Ford Mustang when she passed another car in a no-passing zone, accelerated toward the officer, and refused to slow down. The officer had to avoid stepping into the lane to prevent being struck. Minutes later, police found the Mustang parked in a neighborhood with the hood still warm, leading them directly to Tara. Inside the garage, she admitted seeing the officer but “kept going anyway.” She was detained, questioned, and ultimately arrested for fleeing and eluding law enforcement, a felony charge in Florida. Bond: $2,500 Next court date: December 3rd, 2025 This video contains the full body-worn camera footage from the responding officer in Volusia County.
