A 2024 Subaru Outback sat stuck behind it. The cops figured the Camry might be broken down. They pulled up and met the driver, 19-year-old Breanna Cherkis. The Subaru driver told Officer Sousa what went down. She had stopped behind Breanna's car at a red light on Morris and Caldwell. Breanna looked asleep at the wheel and did not budge when the light went green. The woman tried to pass on the left. That's when Breanna yanked left too. They collided. Breanna could not remember much. Officers thought alcohol or drugs might be involved. They ran field sobriety tests. Officer Teon Freeman started with Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus, Lack of Convergence, and Modified Rhomberg Balance. Officer Sousa followed with Walk and Turn and One Leg Stand. Breanna failed them all badly. The crash, her odd signs, and poor test results got her arrested for driving under the influence. They towed her car for a 12-hour hold under John's Law. At Union Township Police headquarters, Officer St. Louis read her the standard statement for drivers. She agreed to give breath samples. The Alcotest showed 0.00% blood alcohol. Officers still smelled trouble. They asked for a urine test. She said yes. They wrapped up processing and let her go to her mom, who signed the liability warning for her. Breanna waited for court. Cops gave her these tickets: Driving under the influence (39:4-50) Careless driving (39:4-97) Unsafe lane change on marked lanes (39:4-88b) Delaying traffic (39:4-56) No seat belt (39:3-76.2f) Her urine test later proved positive for Fluoxetine, Methorphan, and THC-COOH, a pot byproduct. Court papers show the DUI charge got dropped on March 11, 2025. Breanna pled guilty to careless driving, unsafe lane change, no seat belt, and delaying traffic. Her license vanished for 30 days. She paid $585 in fines. 2:58 GGGG G UNIT! 1:08:09 The look on the officer’s face, when he told her to shake her hair out, has me in a chokehold 💀!! 😩🤣🤣🤣 1:11:01 Wow this officer has some serious "reading out loud" talents. He is the only one who made that boring text actually good listening to. :D If you enjoyed this BodyCamBust video.
