The Albuquerque Police Department is proud to recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month: October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. Join in the cause to help women in need today. The featured "pink" fully functional police vehicle was built by several vendors who volunteered and donated time and equipment to create a visual which would bring much needed awareness to breast cancer. The vehicle was displayed prominently during the 2019 International Balloon Fiesta held every year in Albuquerque and is now patrolling the streets of Albuquerque.
