On January 25th, 2021 a concerned citizen called 911 to report a possible fight in progress on the side of I-10. The caller gave a description of a red truck but nothing more. State police began looking for the alleged fight in progress when an officer spotted a service truck working on a semi truck at mile post 71 on I-10 eastbound. NMSP Officer Jarrott was sent to make contact with the two parties to see if they were the ones that the caller witnessed. No other reports were received of a fight along I-10 after Jarrott had spoke with the truck driver and service truck driver from what I could find. For those who don't know, this is another video in the series of videos from Fallen NMSP officer Darian Jarrott. I am showing all bodycam from him in the time he was an officer to show who officer Jarrott was. Officer Jarrott was gunned down along I-10 on February 4, 2021 east of Deming, NM. I made a full documentary on the events of that day and show how Jarrott was essentially sent into an ambush by a federal agency (Department of Homeland Security to be exact) without providing critical information on a convicted felon who was trafficking drugs while armed with multiple guns (including rifles) and was desperate not to go back to prison. Had Jarrott had that information it would have allowed officer Jarrott to save his own life. For more information please watch this documentary of mine that shows you the events of that day. https://youtu.be/NqxTf-Vz12o
