Prior to the officer’s arrival, dispatch received two calls from passengers of the Regional Transit train advising of a person on the train with a knife. Officers arrived on scene. Officer #1 responded to the RT train while Officer #2 retrieved his department issued less lethal bean bag shotgun, then responded to assist Officer #1. The individual stood up, holding the knife. Officer #2 discharged his less lethal bean bag shotgun at the individual. The use of less lethal was ineffective. The individual stood up and charged at officers while still armed with the knife. Officer #1 discharged his firearm. The individual stood up a second time still holding the knife. Officer #2 discharged his firearm. After officers discharged their firearms, they requested fire personnel, a medical kit, additional resources, and developed a plan for a safe approach. After approximately three and a half minutes, officers approached the individual, removed the knife from his person, and began rendering medical aid. Officers continued rendering medical aid until Fire personnel arrived on scene. Despite those efforts, the individual was pronounced deceased on scene. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Special thanks to Shout-Out Supporters on Patreon: - 'DIY Solar Power with Will Prowse' - Dawesenm - William Bowman - Sandra McGreevy - Francesco Tortorelli - Ryan Hurley - Kerrie Golden - Charlie Collier - Koby Bland - Cash MacGregor - 'Zixuno' - 'InicRa' - Christopher Payne - Juan Villagomez - Zach Williams - Michael R Sheffield - Rich Biggs - 'Ham_Radio' - 'JTrip' - Lee Roberts - Jerry Allison - Marc H - Brant Eaton - 'General X' - 'jadeennff' - James Pringle - 'AccuShoot.com' - 'Savage Training Group' - Meighan Garrick - Michele Duckson - 'BoJassim' - 'Dabster' - 'Sopaul' - Lisa Overly - Connor Davies - Paul Rohrbaugh - 'Necko' - Gerardo Flores - Anthony Eufemio - 'Donkbot' - Gage Kissinger - Eian Smith - 'HelloDarknessMyOldFriend' - 'coco Coco' ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Support us at BuyMeACoffee: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/PoliceActivity Support us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/PoliceActivity Follow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/Police_Activity 🛍️ Amazon Affiliate links 🛍️ (if you buy anything through these it will support the channel and allow us to continue creating content for you!): Amazon Store: https://www.amazon.com/shop/PoliceActivity Amazon US: https://amzn.to/44TDQEK Amazon CA: https://amzn.to/47k7Ifm Amazon DE: https://amzn.to/3rSBSGd Amazon UK: https://amzn.to/43ShOkI Timestamps: 0:00 - Surveillance Footage 1:07 - 1st 911 Call 2:43 - 2nd 911 Call 4:04 - Bodycam: Officer #1 10:35 - Bodycam: Officer #2 17:17 - Patreon Supporters
