In a surprising turn of events, 45-year-old Brandt Snedeker, the 2026 U.S. Presidents Cup captain, is in the running at the Valspar Championship. After a third-round 67, Snedeker sits just two shots off the lead, thanks to his impressive putting performance. Snedeker, who has struggled since returning from sternum surgery in 2023, made a crucial putter change to the TaylorMade Spider mallet, which has proven to be a game-changer. His putting statistics are remarkable, leading the field in Strokes Gained: Putting and overall Strokes Gained. With a new-found confidence and a mindset of proving doubters wrong, Snedeker is ready to challenge for the title. Will he be able to secure his first win since 2018? Tune in to find out!
