At approximately 02:26 hours, I was dispatched to 1281 Brockett Road (Building 27) in reference to a car accident. Upon arrival, I made contact with the complainant and victim, Akilah Frett. Ms. Frett reported that she was initially parked near the leasing office at 1500 Post Oak Drive when a black BMW SUV approached her general area. Two females exited the front seats, while two males exited the back. Frett stated that the two males were armed with handguns. Fearing for her safety, she fled the scene at high speed. She stated she was able to temporarily lose the vehicle while driving down East Ponce de Leon Avenue but noticed the same BMW following her again at Brockett Road and East Ponce de Leon. The suspects allegedly pursued her into the Silver Oaks Apartments, where the BMW rammed her vehicle multiple times, causing her to lose control. Frett continued to flee, eventually crashing near building 1392 at Post Oak, where she struck a stop sign. Frett then exited her vehicle and fled on foot. As she ran, she reported hearing 3–4 gunshots. Frett could not provide detailed suspect descriptions but described the driver as a Black female with red hair, the front passenger as a heavier-set Black female, and the two rear passengers as Black males wearing black clothing. EMS evaluated Frett on scene for injuries sustained from the vehicle being rammed. While on scene, I also spoke with John Tillis, who identified himself as Frett’s boyfriend. Tillis stated that his ex-girlfriend, Adrianne Celestine, had picked him up earlier in the day but later dropped him off so he could meet Frett. According to Tillis, Celestine was the individual chasing and ramming Frett’s car. He identified Celestine as the driver of the BMW and noted the front passenger matched the description of a female who had recently fled from officers at Clarkston Station Apartments (see case #08-24-001251). He also stated the two rear passengers were known to police and had dreadlocks. Frett’s vehicle was entered into GCIC/NCIC as stolen due to the circumstances of the incident. At 03:30 hours, I was dispatched to another location within 1500 Post Oak near building 1397, where Daniel Makeny reported that his parked 2010 Ford Fusion had been struck by gunfire. I observed a bullet hole through the windshield, a shattered rear passenger window, and a bullet defect on the passenger side of the vehicle. The car had been parked in the same area where Frett had crashed and reported hearing gunshots. At approximately 05:30 hours, I responded to 3620 Montreal Creek Circle. There, Adrianne Celestine reported that John Tillis had threatened to shoot her. Also present was Damille Brown, believed to be the front passenger of the BMW and the same female who previously fled in handcuffs. Brown was identified, notified of pending warrants, and released. The black BMW X5 was located near the leasing office with fresh front-end damage and silver paint transfer consistent with Frett’s vehicle. Celestine claimed she had only been a passenger earlier and that Tillis was the driver. She claimed to have parked the vehicle away from her building due to a late car payment and denied knowing anything about the incident or the armed males. While speaking with Celestine, both Frett and Tillis arrived on scene. Frett immediately identified Celestine as the driver who rammed her. Tillis again corroborated that Celestine was the aggressor. Based on witness statements, the physical condition of the BMW, and the series of events, I established probable cause to arrest Celestine for her role in the incident. She was placed in handcuffs, double-locked and checked for fit. While attempting to confiscate the vehicle key from Celestine’s hand, she squeezed the keys and accidentally scratched my left ring finger with her nails, resulting in a minor injury. Although not intentional, her actions delayed the investigation and constituted obstruction. The BMW X5 was towed from the scene by S & W Towing and held for further investigation. I later obtained and served the following warrants from the on-duty DeKalb County Magistrate Judge: Aggravated Assault – Warrant #24W013844 Criminal Attempt to Commit a Felony – Warrant #24W013845 Obstruction – Warrant #24W013846 All warrants were delivered to DeKalb County Jail. #BodyCamFootage #PoliceInvestigation #BMWChase #LoveTriangleGoneWrong #CaughtOnCam #StolenCarDrama #HighSpeedPursuit #ClarkstonGA #ExGirlfriendDrama #DomesticDispute #JealousEx #RealCrime #TrueCrime2025 #CaughtInTheAct #CrazyExChronicles #CriminalCharges #AggravatedAssault #PoliceReport #DramaInTheStreets #LateNightChase #WarrantsIssued #JusticeServed #CarCrashInvestigation #ViralPoliceFootage #DramaUnfolds #LoveGoneWrong #ShotFired #CrimeCaughtOnCamera
