On December 11, 2025, a U.S. Marshal contacted the Crescent City Police Department after reportedly locating a suspect wanted on a felony warrant at the Beachside Inn Motel in Crescent City, California. The marshal recognized a stolen Harley-Davidson motorcycle parked outside the suspect’s room. When officers approached the room, the suspect opened the door slightly and then attempted to close it. A Crescent City police sergeant forced the door open, and officers took the suspect into custody. During the investigation, officers found a pair of brass knuckles, the motorcycle’s key, and documents belonging to the motorcycle’s owner. Police confirmed that the Harley-Davidson had been reported stolen in Washington. The motorcycle was recovered and secured for its owner. The suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Del Norte County Jail on the following charges: • An outstanding felony warrant • Possession of metal knuckles — California Penal Code § 21810 • Receiving or possessing known stolen property — California Penal Code § 496(a) United States Marshal Involved: I.
