“Operation Elaborate is the biggest fraud operation ever run in the UK” Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley joined the Met’s Cyber Crime Unit to witness how they unfold and expose online scammers behind an online criminal website, which exploited over 200,000 victims. Spoofing impersonates a trusted contact via phone call, but can take various forms. If you have been a victim of fraud, you can report it to Action Fraud: www.met.poilce.uk/elaborate This helps law enforcement investigate the problem and capture those responsible. #OutOfTheBlueNoThankYou #CyberProtect #iSpoofTakedown
