On August 21, 2025, a Florida police officer conducted a routine traffic stop after observing a vehicle traveling 34 mph in a 20 mph school zone. What followed was a textbook sovereign citizen encounter — the driver claimed diplomatic immunity using a document purchased online from an organization called the "MC Coalition," refused to produce a valid driver's license, and invoked God's law to challenge the officer's jurisdiction. Officers discovered that the driver's Florida license had been suspended in February — and that she still had the suspended physical license in her wallet. She was charged with resisting arrest without violence and sentenced to 180 days in jail.
