On March 10, 2025, Florida officers were dispatched to a local hotel regarding a theft and a guest who refused to vacate her room. Upon arrival, officers contacted the woman, who was immediately hostile and argumentative. She boasted about "making more money" than the officers and repeatedly threatened to call her lawyer, claiming to know her rights as a "Floridaian". After hotel management officially trespassed her from the property, she was given numerous commands to leave. The woman refused, insisting on waiting on the property for her cab instead of the public sidewalk. As officers attempted to place her under arrest for Trespassing After Warning, the woman began to physically resist, pulling away and yelling. She was ultimately taken to the ground, arrested, and charged with Trespassing and Resisting an Officer.
