An officer attempted to arrest a suspect, Daniel, who took off running during the encounter. After tackling him to the ground and repeatedly ordering him to comply, Daniel continued to resist arrest, using his strength to keep his arms from being handcuffed. Despite multiple attempts to subdue him, Daniel escaped and fled across a street before falling again. The officer caught up, but Daniel broke free a second time, prompting a taser deployment after warnings to comply were ignored. Even after a drive stun, Daniel tried to push the taser away—forcing the officer to deploy probes into his leg and back.
