A normal drive through Florida ended with two people in handcuffs. On June 9, 2020, Flagler County deputies pulled over a stolen U-Haul truck. Inside were 36-year-old Steven Curtis and 40-year-old Heather Lewis, who appeared to be living in the truck. During the traffic stop, Curtis admitted to officers that they had methamphetamine and drug tools hidden inside. To make matters worse, Curtis was driving with a suspended license. Police arrested him for stealing the motor vehicle, having illegal drugs, and destroying evidence. The local sheriff stated that the deputies officially put an end to the couple's "mobile vacation".
