On December 31, 2022, a caller reported a possibly intoxicated driver traveling on State Route 7 in East Palestine. Officer Elkin located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. There were obvious signs of intoxication, so the 24-year-old woman was asked to step out of the vehicle to perform standardized field sobriety tests. The tests were ended prematurely because of the woman's intoxication level. She was arrested for DUI and transported to the East Palestine police station. She agreed to submit to an evidential breath test and the result was 0.29% BAC. Her charges and the outcome of her case are discussed at the end of the video.
