On September 2nd, 2023, officers responded to a report of a verbal domestic disturbance at a residence. Upon arrival, officers separated the two involved parties, a mother and her adult daughter. Officers spoke with both women, the mother told officers the confrontation got physical, with both women pushing each other. The daughter told officers that the disagreement was just verbal however, later, her statements contradicted these earlier claims. Further investigation revealed that the daughter was upset, thinking her mother had spoken badly of her to other family members on the phone. This led to her enter her mother’s bedroom and begin throwing water and lotion bottles around the room. The woman’s mother told officers her daughter pushed her in the chest and got in her face during the argument. Based on the officers' investigation, they approached the suspect to place her under arrest. However, the suspect started crying and blaming her mother before sitting on her bed and refusing to stand up. As officers attempted to move the suspect from the bed to place her into handcuffs, the suspect threw herself toward a wall and dropped her body limp. Officers called an ambulance for the suspect as she opened her eyes, stating, "Was that hard enough?". She appeared to have feigned losing consciousness as she began verbally abusing and resisting officers. The suspect was placed in a patrol car and was taken to a hospital, later being fully medically cleared of any injuries. The suspect continued screaming and resisting officers at the jail, eventually kicking a Lieutenant. The suspect was charged with Battery against a Household Member, Resisting, Evading, or Obstructing an Officer, and Battery upon a Peace Officer. #police #bodycam #cops ~~~ ** Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only.
