Police officers are called to an airport gate after a Southwest Airlines passenger is removed from his flight for being visibly intoxicated and uncooperative. Airline staff report that the man was unable to walk in a straight line and began cursing at employees when told he would not be allowed to fly. When officers attempt to calmly escort the traveler out of the terminal, he becomes highly combative, pointing his fingers in officers' faces, repeatedly swearing, and refusing to listen to instructions. Despite multiple warnings to stop, the passenger pulls away when an officer attempts to guide him toward the exit. Officers quickly take the man to the ground to place him in handcuffs. As he is escorted through the terminal in restraints, the surrounding crowd of travelers breaks into applause and cheers. During his transport to the police vehicle and the subsequent ride, the man continuously hurls insults, threatens officers' jobs, and claims he will sue the department. The footage does not show the final court outcome.
