This raw documentary footage takes you inside the unpredictable world of county jails, following several arrests that reveal the complex reality behind a booking sheet. Meet a surprisingly cheerful man booked for forgery who shares the terrifying truth about his synthetic drug and "lean" addictions. Then, witness the heartbreaking reality of a woman arrested on a warrant right after calling police for protection; her intense emotional distress gives way to a shocking history of abuse and a desperate, five-month fight against a heroin relapse. The tension continues as a known gang member, only 23, casually details how his aggravated assault charge started as two aggravated kidnappings after he locked his ex and her boyfriend in a trunk.
