On February 11, 2025, officers with the Orlando Police Department responded to a retail theft incident at a Target store involving a father and son visiting from Romania. According to the investigation, the pair allegedly used a method known as “skip scanning” at self-checkout—failing to scan multiple items while bagging them as if they had been paid for. Store loss prevention quickly identified the suspicious activity and contacted law enforcement. By the time officers arrived, the total value of the unpaid merchandise had exceeded $300, leading to both individuals being detained and arrested. This incident highlights how closely self-checkout activity is monitored and the serious consequences that can come from attempting to bypass the system. 👉 memberships get you early access to all uploads https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmama_VGmgngIHuFD2aaT7w/join Fair Use Disclaimer This video contains footage originally recorded and released by law enforcement agencies.
