Officers were already handling a suspected DWI crash when the chief arrived and began questioning a sergeant about his appearance. According to reports, the chief seemed visibly intoxicated, and the responding supervisor, Sergeant William Major, reportedly remarked, “He’s drunk again.” The situation escalated when the chief confronted the sergeant about his worn police jacket, saying it was “not fit to be worn.” Moments later, tensions boiled over. The pair clashed near a patrol car, and at one point, both ended up against the hood during the argument. On video, the sergeant can be heard warning the chief, “Get out of here or you’re going to get locked up,” while the chief responded by declaring, “You’re suspended.” Following the internal and county-level investigations, Chief Guida was placed on paid administrative leave. Records show his annual salary was $202,500. Sgt. Major was eventually reinstated to full duty. Disclaimer: This video is presented for educational, documentary, and informational purposes only.
