According to a police report from Warren PD, officers conducted a traffic stop just after 12:30 a.m. December 23 on a vehicle with no headlights turned on. Police spoke to the driver, identified as 26-year-old Zaria Dunklin who allegedly told police that she had drank two shots within the hour and had smoked a blunt minutes prior to the stop. Officers conducted field sobriety tests on Dunklin, which she failed. Police say they could smell an odor of alcohol on her breath during the testing period. Dunklin was placed under arrest and charged with OVI. Due to a child allegedly being in the car with her, she was also charged with endangering children. According to the police report, police also arrested the passenger of the vehicle, identified as 23-year-old Chiparis Alexander because after she allegedly refused to leave the scene and continually argued with officers.
