On November 12, 2025, deputies with the Lake County Sheriff's Office in Illinois, conducted a traffic stop on the driver of a white truck pickup after they allegedly observed her driving 70 mph in a 40 mph zone in the opposing lane of traffic. Upon speaking with the driver, the police observed signs of impairment, and what seemed to be an open container of alcohol. Unfortunately, the driver's young sister was a passenger in the vehicle, and she was traumatized by the entire incident. A further search of the suspect's vehicle resulted in more charges.
