[Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only] Furry Creek, British Columbia, Canada — On July 24, 2026, around 1:00 PM, a police laser speed-measuring device recorded a motorcyclist, later identified as a 20-year-old Richmond resident, travelling at 146km/h in an 80km/h zone on Highway #99. A British Columbia Highway Patrol motorcycle officer came within a few meters of the speeding motorcyclist, who appeared unaware of the officer's presence due to a lack of mirrors. The officer continued following, waiting for a safe pullover spot, when the motorcyclist performed a one-wheeled stunt maneuver and sped off, weaving between several cars. The motorcyclist eventually noticed the tailing officer and complied with his directions to pull over. The 20-year-old motorcyclist, who had recently completed a driving prohibition, was issued: ● Excessive speed (over 60 km/h) ticket, ● Driving without due care and attention (stunting) ticket, ● Seven-day impound for excessive speeding, ● Three-year high-risk driver premiums and escalating insurance, ● Six-month driving prohibition.
