A security guard was arrested after refusing to let an officer through a gate during a traffic stop investigation. According to the police report, an officer was on a different traffic stop when a truck ran a stop sign. The officer drove after the truck and followed it to a highly secured Aerospace facility. The truck went past the security gate, but the gate shut right as the officer tried to follow with his emergency lights flashing. The officer told the security guard to open the gate so he could catch the truck. She refused and said she had to contact her supervisor. Because of the delay, the truck driver got away. The officer arrested the guard for misdemeanor resisting an officer without violence. She was processed at the scene and released on a notice to appear. Court Outcome: The case is fully resolved. On June 5, 2026, prosecutors dropped the charge. The judge officially closed the case on June 8, 2026.
