Drunk Entitled Woman Tries Every Excuse To Not Get Arrested NARRATIVE On Sunday July 24th, 2022, at approximately 0026 hours, I, Officer Lafave, was on duty in full uniform displaying my badge of office, and in a marked NMSP patrol vehicle within the County of Bernalillo State of New Mexico. At this time, I was traveling north on Interstate 25 near Rio Bravo when I observed a Jeep weaving within its lane. I also observed the vehicles tires drive on and over the painted lane divider with its left and right tires. I pulled directly behind this vehicle, a purple Jeep and saw a cigarette being thrown out the driver window, I activated my emergency equipment and conducted a traffic stop. I exited my patrol car and made contact with the female driver, later identified (Defendant) and asked Defendant to provide me her driver's license, registration and insurance. Defendant provided me her NM Driver's License and vehicle registration. While speaking with Defendant and female passenger, I smelled the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage from Defendant and/or vehicle; Defendants eyes were bloodshot and watery. I asked Defendant to exit this vehicle where I explained the reason for the stop. Defendant was aware of her driving behavior and admitted to throwing out the cigarette. While outside of this vehicle I continued to smell the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from her breath as she spoke. I asked Defendant how much she had been drinking and she admitted to consuming an alcoholic beverage (1 beer) prior to this traffic stop. Want to see content that you wont see here?
