#PoliceBodyCam #iphone #findmyiphone At approximately 7:58 PM on December 19, 2023, East Point police responded to a call regarding a physical altercation at 1056 Calhoun Avenue. Upon arrival, Officer M. Thomas made contact with Sonya Mason, the victim, who reported being assaulted by a female later identified as Breana Ellis. Details of the Incident: According to Sonya Mason, she was seated when Breana Ellis approached her and began to physically attack her. The assault involved multiple closed fist punches to Mason’s face—approximately 9 times—as well as hair-pulling, resulting in visible injuries including a knot on the right side of Mason’s forehead and a black eye on her left side. Mason immediately contacted 911 after the attack. Witness Testimony: The witness, O.H., confirmed the incident and added that Breana Ellis was upset because she believed Sonya Mason had stolen her cell phone. Ellis was described as pacing back and forth in the residence before initiating the physical assault. After the attack, Ellis allegedly stopped and hid in the kitchen, where she was eventually found by officers. O.H. also stated that she believed Ellis may have been under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Suspect’s Behavior and Arrest: Upon arrival, officers located Breana Ellis hiding in the kitchen. When questioned, Ellis denied any knowledge of Mason’s injuries, claiming that Mason’s bruises were pre-existing. Ellis was placed in handcuffs, searched, and transported to the East Point City Jail. However, after being cuffed, Ellis became verbally combative, repeatedly shouting “I didn’t do nothin’!” and “What am I gettin’ locked up for?” She also complained that the handcuffs were too tight and that her wrists were bleeding. While in the patrol car, Ellis continued to verbally abuse officers, using profanities and insults, including calling them “bitches” and “hoes.” Booking Process and Additional Findings: At the East Point City Jail, Ellis removed her shoes, continued her disorderly conduct, and demanded the handcuffs be removed. A records check revealed that Ellis had an outstanding warrant from Gwinnett County for a separate offense. This warrant was confirmed, and Ellis was informed that she would be transferred to Gwinnett County Jail after her processing in Fulton County. Charges: Battery (O.C.G.A. 16-5-23.1(A)) Disorderly Conduct (O.C.G.A. 16-11-39) Conclusion: Breana Ellis was arrested for battery after assaulting the victim, Sonya Mason, over a missing cell phone. Her aggressive behavior continued during her arrest and transport, leading to additional disorderly conduct charges. After being processed, Ellis was scheduled for transportation to Gwinnett County due to the active warrant for her arrest. #Assault #Battery #DisorderlyConduct #EastPointPolice #Mugshot #PoliceBodyCam #Arrest #FightOverPhone #GeorgiaCrime #Arrested #CrimeStory #PoliceChase #GwinnettCounty #LawEnforcement #PoliceDrama #GeorgiaJail #Warrant #StreetJustice #FunnyArrest #CriminalDrama #BodyCamFootage #KickingOff #NoMoreDrama
