On March 9, 2024, officers in St. Petersburg, Florida, were dispatched to a car wash after reports of an assault. The incident began when the defendant demanded a second wash in the same day. When staff explained it would come at an additional cost, she became enraged—stepping out of her vehicle to confront the manager and striking him several times in the face. After fleeing the scene, she thought she was in the clear. But officers weren’t finished yet. Using quick thinking, they tricked her into coming outside her home, where the arrest unfolded.
