REAL POLICE BODYCAM footage shows Joliet Police officers responding to a call at Harrah's Casino in Joliet, Illinois where an intoxicated individual refused to leave the premises. In this police bodycam video, you can see officers confronting 36-year-old Hassan Nur from St. Cloud, Minnesota, who had repeatedly ignored requests from casino security to vacate the property. The incident occurred on May 21, 2023, at approximately 4:20 a.m. When officers arrived at the casino, they gave Nur a simple choice: accept a ticket for trespassing or face arrest. Despite being offered the less severe option, Nur surprisingly responds, "I better get arrested" and "I'm not getting a ticket for this." His defiant attitude leads to his immediate arrest at the Harrah's Casino premises. The police bodycam footage captures the entire exchange where officers remain professional while dealing with the uncooperative suspect. Nur was subsequently taken into custody on charges of criminal trespass to property, obstructing a peace officer, and obstructing justice. According to the Joliet Police Department report, Nur continued his uncooperative behavior at the police station by refusing to participate in booking procedures. He was later transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility and released after posting 10 percent of his $3,000 bail. This real police bodycam footage shows how quickly a simple trespassing incident can escalate when individuals refuse to comply with lawful orders. The video serves as an example of the challenging situations casino security and police officers face when dealing with intoxicated patrons.
