An entitled ex-college sorority girl and cheerleader is facing assault charges after hitting a Maryland cop with her car and driving into a crowded street fair because she had to get to work — with the bratty encounter. Kai DeBerry-Bostick, a 28-year-old graduate of Bowie State University and a member of the school’s Zeta Delta sorority, pulled off the four-wheeled tantrum on Saturday morning in Laurel — ripping down police tape and motoring into the crowded festival despite the cop’s orders. “I have to sir,” she says, before screaming, “I got to go to work? What do you want me to do?” “You cannot get out,” the cop says. “I can’t help you with that. Please do not disturb this area.” “I might have to,” DeBerry-Bostick responds, and rips down the yellow police tape blocking the road. She then pulls on to Main Street, where booths can be seen lined up along the street as locals mingle — as the oblivious driver comes within 2 feet of a man pushing a stroller. “Stop! Stop your car!” the officer yells, as people at the street festival are heard screaming. The ex-college student is finally pulled out of the car and handcuffed on the pavement, video shows. Police said she was later charged with assault and was being held at the town lockup.
