On August 11, 2022, officers from Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, responded to the scene of a car crash at an intersection. The lone occupant driving a BMW with Ontario plates rear-ended an SUV containing seven family members. The family reported to officers that the driver of the BMW had stumbled into their son earlier in the night at Carmine’s Restaurant. He seemed so inebriated that they requested the manager of the restaurant confiscate his keys. A short time later the same person collided with their vehicle. The driver was transferred to Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center for medical attention and tested a BAC of .271. 50 Police Body Cam (that’s “five-oh”) is an educational resource for viewers to witness the real-life situations faced by the men and women of law enforcement.
